1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ResumeStack ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ResumeStack is an AI-powered resume analysis tool. You upload your resume and a job listing, and the Service provides a match score, improvement suggestions, a generated cover letter, and skill gap analysis. Results are generated by third-party AI language models (currently Anthropic Claude and OpenAI GPT).

3. User Accounts

You must sign in with a Google account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must not share your account or use another person's account without permission.

4. Payment and Pricing

Scans are charged on a per-use basis via Stripe. Prices are displayed before you confirm payment. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis; contact us if you experience issues with a scan.

5. Data You Provide

You retain ownership of all content you upload (resume text, job listings). By using the Service, you grant ResumeStack a limited license to process your content through AI models solely to provide the Service. We do not sell your data or use it for purposes other than delivering your scan results.

6. AI-Generated Content

Cover letters, suggestions, and analysis are generated by AI and may contain errors or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing and editing all AI-generated content before using it. ResumeStack does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any AI-generated output.

7. Prohibited Use

You may not use the Service to: submit content that is illegal, harmful, or fraudulent; attempt to reverse-engineer or abuse the Service; use automated tools to scrape or extract data; or circumvent payment mechanisms.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. ResumeStack is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to lost job opportunities, inaccurate AI output, or service interruptions.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification.
